60 jobs have disappeared after the permanent closure of a popular Fife bakery.
Carlton Bakeries had a number of branches across the Kingdom, including in Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes.
William McMillan Limited, the company behind the business, has been in existence since 1942.
The Courier reports the bakery firm had been adversely affected by current coronavirus restrictions, making its financial position unsustainable.
It's understood staff were informed by letter yesterday about the news.
