An 18-year-old man has died after a road collision in Fife.
Emergency services were called to the scene this morning near Glenrothes.
Another teenager has been arrested over the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 11.10am today following the report of a one-vehicle road crash involving a car and pedestrian at Little Balquhomrie Farm, Glenrothes.
"Emergency services attended and an 18-year-old man, who had suffered serious injuries, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the incident."
No further details about the nature of the incident, or the man who died, have been released.
