3 one act plays presented by Leslie Amateur Drama Club

Waterloo – by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

The young Norah Brewster comes to settle with her 90-year-old great uncle, Gregory Brewster, to help him at home. The uncle is a veteran of Waterloo and the last survivor of the Third Guard. The old man receives often visits from young soldiers who like to listen to his Waterloo war memories.

Nine - By Jane Shepard
(This play contains very strong language and adult themes)

Two women held in a life-threatening situation and the mind games they play to keep one another alive. Held in a room and chained apart, their only currency is words, and balance of power is everything when a single word becomes the hanging point between life and death.

Occams Chainsaw – By Dan Sareen
(This play contains very strong language and adult themes)

Occam's Chainsaw was conceived as a passion project, based on the writer's love for 90's crime movies such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Reservoir Dogs, and Goodfellas. The play was originally performed by Aireborne Theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2018.
