Yellow warning issued for snow and ice in Fife

A yellow warning for snow and ice has been issued for the Kingdom tomorrow.

The Met Office have the alert in place from 11am and it comes into place at 5pm on Thursday evening. 

Roads and rail journeys are likely to be impacted with people being urged to take extra precautions due to icy surfaces. 

Wintry showers will fall on Wednesday evening and overnight into Thursday morning, which could turn to ice on frozen surfaces.

Between 2 and 5 centimetres of snow could fall.

Temperatures could drop to minus 3 this week.
