A 23-year-old woman has appeared at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court charged with the murder of a man in the town on Christmas Day.
Adriana Ciurar, of Kirkcaldy, made no plea and she has been remanded in custody.
The case has been committed for further examination.
She is expected to return to court within the next eight days.
Police were called to the town's David Street last Wednesday, to investigate the death of a 25-year-old man.
His identity has not been confirmed.
