Westminster is being accused of burying its head in the sand over the rising use of food banks.
Nationalist MSP Joan McAlpine's remarks come after UK Employment Minister Esther McVey claimed in a letter there was no evidence that increasing use of the facilities was linked to welfare reforms.
Ms McAlpine's telling Kingdom FM News that comes despite a previous admission from Scottish Tory David Mundell:
