West Fife School Claims "Misleading"

Fife Council's leader is hitting out at claims West Fife high schools are being neglected.

SNP Councillor Douglas Chapman says current maintenance spending is being wasted at Inverkeithing, St Columba's and Woodmill.

He has called for the local authority to prepare "shovel ready" plans that can be put in place as soon as Scottish Government funding can be secured.

It comes after new build schools in other parts of the Kingdom - Madras, Viewforth, Waid Academy and the Levenmouth merger - have been approved following donations from Holyrood.
