Local MP says action is being taken to keep children away from the foreshore.
Signs alerting children not to dig on Dalgety Bay beach are to be erected within days, according to the local MP.
Gordon Brown and Fife Council leaders demanded the move after the leaking of a suppressed Ministry of Defence report.
Mr Brown says he now wants the rest of the report's recommendations to be carried out.
These include regular cancer checks for local residents and early action to clean up the beach.
