Walker Expected To Appeal Conviction

Bill Walker was freed from prison in March after serving six months behind bars.

A freed former politician is expected to appeal his conviction later.

Bill Walker was sentenced to 12 months behind bars in September after being found guilty of 23 charges of assault and one breach of the peace against three ex-wives and a stepdaughter.

The former Dunfermline representative was freed from Dumfries Prison after serving six months of his sentence.

The 67-year old maintains he's innocent.
