The Scottish Liberal Democrat Autumn Conference is taking place in Dunfermline.
During his keynote speech, Leader Willie Rennie will announce that he IS prepared to look at and explore SNP proposals to devolve full welfare powers to Holyrood.
The party has - up until now - been against the move.
The Lib Dems currently have just five MSPs, while support is falling south of the border, but Mr Rennie says his party is feeling buoyant:
