Two women have had their heads shaved in a Fife village to raise thosuands of pounds for the people of Ukraine.
Alexa Stewart and Elizabeth Adams were courageous in having their hair cut off at the Fayre Earth Gift Shop in Falkland today.
As of late this afternoon, their fundraiser on the JustGiving website for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal, which is run by the British Red Cross Society, has raised more than £6,000.
Locals gathered around the shop while the event took place.
In a video above, Alexa and Elizabeth say that losing their hair was worthwhile given the ongoing difficult situation for many Ukrainians.
