A cyclist who was seriously injured in a collision on the A92 on Saturday has died.
David Christie was travelling through Freuchie on Saturday night when the accident happened.
Police have confirmed the 49 year old passed away at the Victoria Hospital yesterday afternoon.
A family spokesperson said David was "a much loved son and father."
They said: "He will be hugely missed by family and friends.
"David's family want to thank the staff in the Intensive Care Unit for being so kind and caring while looking after him.
"The family is finding it extremely difficult to come to terms with this tragic loss".
