Thousands of motorsport fans set to head to Knockhill for the British Touring Car Championships

Around 15,000 motorsport fans are expected to enjoy the British Touring Car Championships at Knockhill this weekend.

The event is expected to represent the biggest sporting crowd in Fife since 2019.

Kirkcaldy's own Rory Butcher, as well as Scotland's Gordon Shedden and Aiden Moffat, are hoping to impress their home crowd at the circuit.

All three are within the top ten of the drivers standings going into this weekend.

Our reporter Anas Hassan visited the venue this week to speak to Rory, local driver Joe Tanner who is in the Mini Championship and the Managing Director of the venue, Jillian Shedden.
