Almost half of other UK residents 'wouldn't mind' Scots independence

A poll suggests almost half of people living outside Scotland "wouldn't mind" waking up to discover the country was independent from the rest of the UK.

YouGov questioned more than two and a half thousand people in Scotland, Wales and England. 46 per cent of those in Scotland said they would be dismayed. But Alex Salmond, the leader of the Scottish National Party, says he's confident people will vote in favour of Independence in the referendum.
