Rise in energy-related queries

Increasing numbers of Scots are contacting the Citizens Advice Bureaux about energy-related problems.

The charity says rising energy bills, poor sales practices and problems with fuel poverty led to just under 10,000 people asking for help in 2012-13. That's an increase from 9,500 on the previous year. The organisation says its report has evidence that shows benefits changes are "leaving people facing the stark choice between heating and eating''.
