The Scottish Government is hosting a summit to tackle the rising number of payday lenders on the high street.
A summit is taking place to look at ways of preventing the rise of payday lenders on Scotland's high streets.
It's estimated there are up to 200 lending facilities out there.
Sharon Bell from StepChange debt charity is taking part in today's event.
She says one in five clients are coming forward with payday loan debt.
