Stop And Search Data

Data relating to the practice will be placed under the microscope at Holyrood today.

Senior Police Scotland officers are to be quizzed by MSPs on the Justice sub-committee over their handling of data.

It's claimed facts on stop and search do not match those made by Sir Stephen House, the Chief Constable.

Last week it emerged that 356 children have been searched, but officers said only 18 cases had been contrary to force policy.
