Fife's four new MPs - all of them from the SNP - will be at Westminster later for their first day in their new jobs.

The 56 members will meet to choose who'll lead them at the Commons, likely to be either Angus Robertson or Stewart Hosie - though opposition parties claim Alex Salmond will take charge.

They will also decide their strategy for the next five years, with a second independence referendum off the table at the moment, as it was not a part of the Nationalist's election manifesto.

Here's Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath MP Roger Mullin:

The party's leader has hinted it could be included in their manifesto for next year's Scottish Parliament.

Incoming North East Fife MP Stephen Gethins says their first task will be to guarantee the transfer of new powers for Holyrood:

The three main UK-wide parties now have one MP each; Alistair Carmichael, the Lib Dem MP for Orkney and Shetland, David Mundell who will represent Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale, and Labour's Ian Murray, for Edinburgh South, is the only one to represent the party who lost 40 seats overall.

Peter Grant, new MP for Glenrothes and Central Fife is telling us why he thought Labour was almost wiped out across Scotland:
