Scouts are helping the Kelty community during coronavirus

Kelty residents who are self-isolating have been promised help from the village's scout group.

The scouts will support vulnerable residents and anyone who works for the NHS.

They have pledged to help villagers with things like grocery shopping, walking dogs and collecting prescriptions from pharmacies.

Cub Leader Claire Fernie said: "Scouting is about helping others and doing a good turn.

"I believe and live by this, and want to show our village - with the help of others - that we care.

"Hopefully, with us being a village group, people in need will be able to trust us and use our services."
