The Health Secretary will announce a donation of supplies to help in the fight against Ebola.
A variety of medical equipment and supplies are to be distributed to charities running six UK Government funded clinics within Sierra Leone.
Alex Neil will meet with Dr Kitty Smith, Medical Lead, Travel Medicine and International Health Team from Health Protection Scotland to view some of the medical equipment that will be sent to West Africa to help care for those affected by Ebola.
Mr Neil has already announced a £500, 000 donation to the World Health Organisation.
The Scottish Government Resilience Committee has also met twice to monitor the situation and ensure Scotland is as prepared as possible to deal with any cases.
