Scots Tories Call For `Living Wage Business Bonuses`

Scottish Conservative Enterprise Spokesman Murdo Fraser

A new Business Bonus `could help Scottish firms pay a living wage`.

That's according to the Scottish Tories who are calling on the SNP to offer ways to boost people's pay packets.  It's being suggested a "Living Wage Business Bonus" could help increase wages for low-paid Scots.

Politicians from across the political spectrum have called on businesses in recent weeks to pass on growing profits to their employees in the form of wage rises.

Scottish Conservative enterprise spokesman Murdo Fraser believes firms would welcome the chance to pay their employees more.  He says it would bring great relief to so many workers who have had to accept stagnant wages for years.
