Scots Drinking Too Much Fizzy Juice

Scots are consuming the least amount of vegetables in the UK in comparison to our counterparts in Wales and England. New figures out today show we also drink an average of 2 litres of fizzy juice a week - which is attributed as a main contributor to the number of us who are diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.

Experts fear the trends are alarming and put further stress on the 7 million pound bill for obesity the NHS already spends. 

Over indulgence on fizzy drinks is attributed as being the main reason for the rapid rise in Scots being diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes.
