More Scots are opting out of driving home to see their families over Christmas this year than ever before.
According to research published today by Green Flag, just a third of us in the UK will visit relatives during the festive season.
1 in 6 of us in Scotland will choose booze over family, we can't drink and drive, so we'll dump our relatives rather than abstain from alcohol according to the research. And almost a quarter (23%) say the long driving distances puts them off visiting family in the festive period.
