Scotland Celebrates Good Food

More than 100 restaurants, pubs and cafes from across Scotland will feature in the 2015 Good Food Guide.

Nine new entries will feature in the publication which is due out on Monday 8th September.

The Cellar in Anstruther and Ostlers Close in Cupar make it into the 2015 guide.

Meanwhile, The Peat Inn has made it into the top 50 and ranks at number 31.

Chef proprietor Geoffrey Smeddle is delighted:

Elizabeth Carter, Consultant Editor of the Waitrose Good Food Guide, commented:

'I really am impressed by the high standard of all Scottish restaurants in the Guide – the country seems to be a magnet for talented chefs. There may be a wealth of top restaurants, but particular acknowledgment must go to the new entries in the Good Food Guide 2015 - it's great to see restaurants of the quality of Ninth Wave entering the Guide for the first time. Long may this continue.'
