Safeguard For Glenrothes Jobs

A major weapons manufacturer's announced plans to move its entire UK production to Glenrothes.

Raytheon UK makes missiles, surveillance equipment and cyber technology for the defence, government and security industries. Its advanced electronics manufacturing base is already in the Fife town.

The move will safeguard 600 jobs in the area, but some campaigners are unhappy about arms being produced in Fife.
