Pubs across Fife may shut doors as level three restrictions kick in

Many pubs across Fife will choose to shut their doors as the Kingdom enters level three coronavirus restrictions from Friday.

That is the view of the local licensed trade association, which says most "wet-led" venues that only serve alcohol will have no reason to stay open.

As of 6am on Friday, venues cannot serve alcohol at all - and must shut by 6pm each day.

It is an attempt to limit social gatherings after a rise in coronavirus cases in Fife.
