Pressure mounts on Cameron over Salmond debate

David Cameron's under renewed pressure to take part in a gtelevised debate with Alex Salmond on independence.

The call came from Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon after reports that the Prime Minister could take part in such a debate with Ukip leader Nigel Farage in the run-up to next year's General Election. He's also said to be open to debates with Labour leader Ed Miliband, Natalie Bennet, the leader of the Green party, and LibDem leader Nick Clegg. On the prospect of a head to head with Mr Farage, Ms Sturgeon said it was astonishing, given that his party doesn't have a single seat at Westminster.
