Pothole Busters Hit Fife Roads

New vehicles aim to target potholes before they become a problem.

Pothole busters are being rolled out across the Kingdom to make our roads safer.

The vehicles can deliver high quality road repairs quickly and efficiently. They are also multi-purpose and can be used during the winter months as gritters.

Bill Liddle, Service Manager (Maintenance Operations) said:

"The pothole busters have been working across Fife since September and are a great success. Already, there are noticeable improvements to the road network.

"In mid Fife area, we’ve patch repaired around 10,000m2."

Cllr Altany Craik, Chair of Glenrothes Area Committee said:

"It's great to see the difference the pothole buster is making in and around Glenrothes. I'm sure local people will also welcome the news that the council is working hard to make sure these problems are fixed as quickly as possible."
