Police appeal for information after man reportedly tried to gain access to gardens and insecure vehicles in Dunfermline

A person has tried to gain access to gardens and insecure vehicles in Dunfermline, according to police.

Officers have launched an appeal for information after they said that they received a report.

The person is said to have been in the town's Avens Close, Myrtle Wynd and Woodruff Gait in the early hours of last Friday (25 June).

Residents are being asked to check their vehicles and outbuildings.

If anything is missing, then they are being advised to call Police Scotland on 101, using reference number 335 of 25 June.
