'Picasso' Discovered In Fife Attic

If it it a real Picasso, it could be worth millions

A Fife artist has spoken of his shock at discovering a picture thought to be a Picasso in his attic

Dominic Currie's mother had been given the painting by a Russian soldier after she'd fallen pregnant to him during the Cold War. It had lain in a suitcase for 55 years until Dominic and his son decided to spring clean his Methil home. It is now being verified by experts at Christie's auction house in London. If it turns out to be real, he will send it to auction.

Last month, a 1955 Picasso painting broke auction records when it sold at Christie's for a staggering 115-million pounds.

Dominic now hopes that the discovery could lead him to his real father, who he has never known.
