Pepe's Piri Piri could open second Fife premises in new Kirkcaldy development

The units will be in this building on Rosslyn Street, in between Royal Bank of Scotland and St Clair Street Vets.

Pepe's Piri Piri could be open its second restaurant in Fife this month.

It's one of four businesses who look set to move into new shops being built on Rosslyn Street in Kirkcaldy, in between Royal Bank of Scotland and the ice rink. 

Pepe's already has a premises in Rosyth.

Proposals for the new development also include Avens convenience store, a Sun Shack tanning salon and a Salvation Army donation centre.

On it's website Avens, who has stores in Kirkcaldy and Ballingry, says it "can’t wait to welcome customers in" when the store opens this month.

It'll include brands such as Co-op and Stuarts the bakers

Documents included in the plans say the retail stores will be open no than 10pm while it's 11pm for the takeaways.

The signage is yet to be approved by Fife Council.. 

Plans first emerged about three years ago.

Building of the units has been going on for at least a year and are close to completion.

There'll be 53 parking space included as part of the development.
