Patients diverted to different Kirkcaldy venue for rest of this week amid ongoing closure of town centre coronavirus vaccination clinic

Patients who were originally scheduled for a coronavirus vaccine appointment for the rest of this week at the coronavirus vaccination clinic in Kirkcaldy High Street are being asked to go to a different venue.

As of today, those affected are being asked to head to Templehall Community Centre.

After recent heavy rain, the former M&S store in central Kirkcaldy, which has been home to the town's main vaccination clinic, is staying shut until next Monday.

It's as repairs are taking place, but it's hoped the facility will be re-open by then.

NHS Fife has thanked the firm for its support, both in the provision of the venue free of charge and for actioning the necessary repairs quickly.

The health board has also thanked patients for their patience and understanding.

Drop-in clinics, where an appointment isn't needed, are also available across Fife this week, with details available on its website.
