Pair Charged With Burntisland Break-Ins

Two men have been arrested and charged following three housebreakings in Burntisland.

The 33 and 42 year olds are alleged to have stolen property from the town's Golf Club, a shop in Cotburn Crescent and a house in Melville Gardens.
 
The pair were detained on Saturday and will appear at court at a later date.

Detective Inspector Colin Robson said: “We recognise the impact housebreaking has on victims and our local communities continually highlighted this issue as a policing priority. 

“To reflect our commitment to tackling housebreaking and associated offences, Operation RAC officers continue to identify those responsible for housebreaking and acquisitive crime and in addition to proactive enforcement activity, officers regularly engage with the public to offer a range of crime prevention advice.
