One Year Anniversary for IndyRef

Today marks exactly one year since Scotland voted 'no' in the Scottish independence referendum.

It was billed as a 'once in a lifetime opportunity' for Scotland but, 12 months later, there is talk of a second referendum.

Political expert, Professor John Curtice, said:"The evidence of all of the opinion polls, is that Scotland is now almost evenly divided on the question of independence.

"Support for Yes and certainly support for the SNP is high enough that therefore we're having this continued speculation about the possibility of a second referendum."

The referendum set a record for turnout in any election held in the United Kingdom since 1918, when all adults were given the right to vote.

A second referendum has not been ruled out by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

Secretary of State for Scotland, David Mundell said: "I'm very disappointed that we've had these suggestions of a second referendum.

"Ahead of the independence referendum in 2014 there was an Edinburgh Agreement which set out how everyone would approach the referendum - Nicola Sturgeon signed that, David Cameron signed that - and what it said was that everyone would respect the outcome of the referendum and then move on."

We asked Glenrothes residents if they thought there should be a second referendum:
