Scotland's oil and gas industry is calling for the Chancellor to give it a tax break in his Autumn Statement next week.
A report from Aberdeen and Grampian Chamber of Commerce shows two thirds of firms belileve it would encourage exploration and extraction.
It also shows a sharp decline in confidence in the sector - more firms are pessimistic than optimistic for the first time since 2008.
