'No' voters tricked, says Salmond

Alex Salmond says voters have been tricked into opposing independence by a late vow from David Cameron to devolve more powers to Scotland.

The First Minister says he believes No voters will be angry at having been misled by the pledge, which he believes won the poll for the No side.

But Downing Street is dismissing the claims, insisting the timetable for further devolution would be followed.

And Alistair Darling, who led the Better Together campaign, says it is non-negotiable.
