NHS Scotland `Over-worked And Under-Resourced`

NHS staff have suffered over 35,000 injuries at work over the past three years.

That's according to figures from the Scottish Liberal Democrats obtained through the freedom of information act.

NHS Fife staff suffered more than 1200 injuries between 2011 and 2013, from slips and trips to stress and bites.

Scottish Lib Dem Health Spokesperson Jim Hume believes the NHS needs more support, adding that underfunding is exacerbating an already difficult job for the health service.
