MSPs To Tackle Human Trafficking

Human trafficking in Scotland has been branded a 'hidden crime' by Amnesty International in Scotland.

MSPs will debate the first stage of the Human Trafficking and Exploitation Bill at Holyrood this afternoon with an aim of eradicating the problem.

Figures from 2013 estimated there were nearly 1, 800 potential victims throughout the UK, with at least 55 in Scotland.
