Missing Man: Renewed Appeal

Wayne Fleming

Police in Fife have renewed their appeal for help in tracing Wayne Fleming from Glenrothes.

The 39-year-old, who's also known as Bagsy, has not been in touch with his family since March.

Police say he's known to have frequented Methil and Kirkcaldy and to a lesser extent, Cowdenbeath and Ballingry.

Officers say they're growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Wayne is described as 5’5”, stocky build, fair complexion, short dark hair with blue eyes. He has a tattoo of a mushroom on one of his forearms. He was last seen wearing blue denim jeans, black jacket and dark Nike trainers.

Wayne’s mother Helen has also issued a statement through Police Scotland.

She said: "We're asking Wayne to please get in touch with me or any other member of his family, such as his cousin Kerry Ann Brown, or any of his friends. We just want to know that he's okay."

Glenrothes Community Inspector Derek Paxton said: "We are growing more concerned for Wayne’s welfare and we are appealing for Wayne himself to get in touch with police so that we can establish that he is safe and well.

"Anyone who believes they have seen Wayne recently or indeed in the last three to four months, is urged to contact us as soon as possible”.
