Frank Boyle was last seen in Greenfield View yesterday at 7.45am but hasn't been in contact with family or friends since.
Police say Mr Boyle does not currently have access to regular medication.
The 52-year-old is described as white, medium build, 5’10 tall with short grey hair.
He was last seen wearing a tan-coloured top, black jacket, jeans and navy blue suede shoes.
Sergeant Mike Collins of Levenmouth said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Frank, who missed a family event today and does not currently have access to his regular medication.
“Anyone who thinks they may have seen Frank, or has information which can help us establish his whereabouts, is urged to get in touch as soon as possible.”
