Tragic toddler Mikaeel Kular died from internal bleeding and peritonitis - inflammation of the lining of his tummy.
According to reports this morning, the details were given on the three-year-old's death certificate. Mikaeel's body was found in woodland in Kirkcaldy six weeks ago - less than two days after his mother Rosdeep reported him missing from their home in Edinburgh. The 33-year-old has been charged with his murder and is being held on remand at Cornton Vale prison.
