Memorial For Plane Crash Couple

David Rous and Margaret Ann Maclean will be remembered at Wormit Parish Church.

A remembrance service is going to be held this morning for a Fife couple killed in a plane crash.

David Rous and Margaret Ann Maclean were flying from Dundee to Tiree when their aircraft went off the radar over the Easter weekend.

28 year old David, who was an engineer, and his wife Margaret Ann, who was 37 and a GP in Dundee, lived in Newport.

They'll be remembered by family and friends at Wormit Parish Church this morning where relatives have asked for the service to be a celebration of their lives.

They've also requested that people wear bright colours to the memorial which is being held a day before a funeral service on Tiree tomorrow.

This morning's service will be led by the Reverend Jim Connolly who also married David and Margaret Ann in 2012.
