A man has been found dead in a flat in Glenrothes.
Police discovered his remains in the property on Tummel Road in Balfarg on at noon Monday.
Officers were alerted after someone raised concerns about the man, they say his death is being treated as unexplained.
In a statement, Police Scotland said: “Police in Fife attended an address on Tummel Road, Glenrothes, at 12.00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, following reports of concern for a person.
“The body of a man was found within and his death is currently being treated as unexplained pending further investigations.”
