A 36-year-old man has died following a collision involving a car and a van in Fife
The incident happened near the mini roundabout on the B981 between Cluny and Cardenden at around 6.45am this morning.
The Scottish Ambulance Service earlier said that two people had been taken to hospital following the incident, but could not confirm the total number of casualties.
Local diversions are expected to be in place for some time as investigation work takes place.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is being asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.
