A 25-year-old man has died after he was struck by a vehicle in Glenrothes on Thursday evening.
Police have named him as William Fisher, who came from the town.
A car hit him in the town’s Formonthills Road at around 8:25pm.
Sergeant Ewan Pearce from Police Scotland said: “Our thoughts are with Mr Fisher’s family at this difficult time and our enquires are continuing to establish the full circumstances of the crash.
”Anyone with information or dash-cam footage that could assist who has not yet spoken to police is asked to contact the Road Policing Unit in Glenrothes by calling 101, quoting incident 3532 of 6 February.”
