A man is due in court tomorrow after being arrested for allegedly holding a woman against her will in Kirkcaldy.
The 38 year old has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident which occurred in the Harris Drive area on Saturday morning, 20 June.
He will make a brief appearance at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court.
Detective Inspector Charles Duncan of Kirkcaldy CID said: “I would like to thank the public for their positive response during the last 48 hours.
"Whilst this was an isolated incident, officers will continue to be in the Harris Drive area to offer support and reassurance to the local community.”
