A 35-year-old man has appeared in court over a series of housebreakings in St Andrews.
Mark Malone, of Edinburgh, faces a total of five charges, four of which are theft by housebreaking.
He also faces a fifth charge under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Malone made no plea at Dundee Sheriff Court and was released on bail.
The case was committed for further examination and his next court appearance is to be confirmed at a later date.
