Man, 45, charged following the death of Mark Hacon-Deavin in Glenrothes

A man has been charged in connection with the alleged murder of Mark Hacon-Deavin in Glenrothes.

Mr Hacon-Deavin, 41, was found injured on the town's Boblingen Way at around 1.40am on Saturday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have now confirmed a 45 year old man's now been charged and is due before Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday 26th July.  A full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.

A spokesperson said: " The investigation is continuing and anyone with information regarding this death is asked to contact 101 quoting reference number 0413 of 17 July. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
