A man has appeared in court charged with a rape in Fife.
The incident was reported to police in Kelty on July 6, after a woman was allegedly attacked in a car.
Mostafizur Rahman, 42, of Dunfermline, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court today to face a single charge of rape.
He made no plea and the case was committed for further examination.
Rahman was released on bail, pending a further appearance at a later date.
