Man, 37, charged with series of crimes in rural parts of Fife

A man has been charged in relation to several crimes in rural parts of eastern Fife in recent months.

The 37-year-old allegedly committed a number of thefts, break-ins and road traffic offences between November and this month.

He is also suspected of engaging in antisocial behaviour and attempting to carry out more break-ins.

Detective Inspector Chris Mill, of Fife CID, said: "I want to reassure the people of Fife that we are committed to dealing with crime conducted in our rural communities and will do everything in our power to bring those responsible to justice."

The man is expected to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court tomorrow (Thursday).
